What are the differences?
Grosgrain ribbon – Heavily ribbed ribbon usually made from silk, used in milinary.
Organdie ribbon is a fine, cotton fabric with a fairly stiff drape used in both formal, elaborately styled evening wear as well as in household linens, such as curtains and bedspreads.
Satin ribbon is a weave that typically has a glossy surface and a dull back.
Taffeta ribbon is a crisp, smooth woven fabric made from silk or synthetic fibres.
Velvet ribbon is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive feel.
